| Colby Curtis Museum Watercolour Workshop (published Mon, 13 Jan 2025 12:12:32) | The Colby Curtis Museum in Stanstead is hosting a Victorian Valentines Watercolour Workshop on Sunday, Feb. 2nd from 10am to 4pm. The event is free and is open to all levels. Materials are provided free but you may bring materials from home also. Visit their Facebook page for more details. | Candlelight Service For Wales Home (published Fri, 10 Jan 2025 21:09:45) | There will be a candlelight service at the Wales Home on January 30th from 7pm to 8:30pm in the Main Living Room at the Wales Home. Candles are $10.00 apiece or buy 11 for $100.00. You can buy your candles at the Wales Home on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 9am to 10am at the reception or buy online. From November to March, Mental Health Estrie is accepting HUGS (Hats, Underwear, Gloves, Socks, and Scarves) and other warm items of clothing. These are then donated to local resources offering services to those experiencing homelessness. Monetary donations are also accepted through our website or by cheque (please make cheques payable to Mental Health Estrie and indicate HUGS on the memo line). Items can be dropped off directly at our offices in the beige bins next to door #2 at 3355 rue College, Sherbrooke. Alternatively, an in-person appointment can be scheduled to drop off items or a cheque.
